Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar – Stone Town

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town. After check-in, enjoy some time to relax before exploring the historic streets of Stone Town.

Discover the narrow streets, traditional Zanzibar doors, colorful markets, and historic buildings that reflect the island’s Swahili, Arab, Indian, and European heritage. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner featuring local Zanzibar cuisine.

Day 2: Stone Town & Spice Farm Experience

After breakfast, begin your guided exploration of Stone Town. Visit some of the city’s historic landmarks and learn about Zanzibar’s fascinating history and cultural heritage. Explore local markets, traditional shops, and the famous waterfront.

Later, travel to one of Zanzibar’s spice farms. Discover why Zanzibar is known as the “Spice Island” and learn about cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg, and other tropical spices. Enjoy a traditional local lunch before returning to Stone Town.

Day 3: Stone Town to Nungwi – Beach & Sunset Experience

After breakfast, depart Stone Town and travel to the beautiful northern coast of Zanzibar. Arrive in Nungwi, famous for its white sandy beaches and turquoise Indian Ocean waters.

Check into your beach resort and spend the afternoon relaxing by the beach or enjoying optional water activities. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Zanzibar sunset experience.

Day 4: Mnemba Island Marine Experience

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day marine adventure around the waters of Zanzibar. Take a boat trip toward Mnemba Island and explore the surrounding marine area. Depending on sea and weather conditions, enjoy snorkeling and swimming in the clear tropical waters.

Look out for colorful tropical fish, coral reefs, and other marine life. Enjoy a beach or boat lunch before returning to the northern coast in the afternoon. Spend the evening relaxing at your resort.

Day 5: Kendwa Beach & Local Zanzibar Experience

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day exploring the northern beaches of Zanzibar. Visit Kendwa Beach, famous for its beautiful white sand and clear waters. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or simply relaxing beside the Indian Ocean.

Later, experience more of Zanzibar’s local culture by visiting a nearby village or community and learning about traditional island life. Return to your resort for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and your final morning on the island.

Depending on your flight schedule, spend some time relaxing at the beach or exploring the local area. You will then be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your 6 Days Zanzibar Island Safari.
