Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide and transferred to your comfortable lodge in Arusha. After check-in, relax and recover from your journey while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of your lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit a local craft market, coffee plantation, or simply relax by the swimming pool.

In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed safari briefing and discuss your personal interests, ensuring the coming days are customized to your preferences.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its giant baobab trees, rolling savannahs, and one of Africa’s largest elephant populations.

Upon entering the park, your first private game drive begins immediately. Spend the day searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, leopards, impalas, ostriches, and colorful birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location before continuing your afternoon wildlife adventure. Because this is a private safari, you can spend extra time observing wildlife and stop whenever exceptional photography opportunities arise.

Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the world famous Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Highlands, traditional Maasai villages, and the vast plains that make the Serengeti one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations.

Upon entering the park, your first Serengeti game drive begins immediately. Search for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hyenas, and leopards while enjoying a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, spend a full day exploring different regions of Serengeti National Park. Your private guide will plan the day’s route based on seasonal wildlife movements, recent sightings, and your personal interests.

Search for lions resting beneath acacia trees, cheetahs hunting across open plains, elephants moving in family groups, giraffes browsing treetops, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras grazing across the savannah.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location before continuing your afternoon safari.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive before departing toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Descend approximately 600 meters into the crater for an unforgettable game drive across one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats. Search for black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and numerous other species.

After enjoying a picnic lunch near the hippo pools, ascend the crater and continue to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Karatu – Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport – Departure

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania.

Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy an optional stop at a local coffee plantation, Maasai market, or cultural center before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight. Your private guide will ensure a comfortable airport transfer and assist you with your departure arrangements.
