Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding parks for families. The journey takes you through beautiful countryside before entering the park, where large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and other wildlife await.
Enjoy a family friendly game drive through the park, with opportunities to see elephants gathering around the Tarangire River and wildlife moving across the open savannah. Your guide will choose suitable viewing areas and keep the pace comfortable for the whole family.
In the late afternoon, continue to your lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel toward the world famous Serengeti National Park. The journey offers beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley and the highlands before entering the Serengeti ecosystem.
Upon arrival, begin a game drive as you make your way toward your accommodation. Families have opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, hippos, and many bird species.
Your guide will select routes suitable for your family, allowing children to enjoy wildlife viewing while maintaining a relaxed safari schedule.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti National Park Family Safari

Wake up to breakfast before heading out for a full day of wildlife exploration in the Serengeti. The park offers some of Tanzania’s finest opportunities for observing predators and large herds in their natural environment.
Enjoy a morning game drive when wildlife is often active. Depending on recent sightings and seasonal movements, your guide will look for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and other animals.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your afternoon game drive. The flexible private safari approach allows your family to spend more time at interesting wildlife sightings and take breaks when needed.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and a relaxing night surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you through changing landscapes and offers opportunities to see wildlife along the way.
After arriving near the Ngorongoro Highlands, settle into your lodge and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Families have time to relax, enjoy the lodge facilities, and prepare for the following day’s crater adventure.
Depending on your arrival time, your guide can arrange a short nature experience or a relaxed afternoon at the lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable family game drive. The crater floor supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife, making it one of the best places in Tanzania for a family safari experience.
Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and other wildlife. Your guide will select suitable viewing areas and provide interesting information about the animals and crater ecosystem.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and beginning the journey back to Arusha.
Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, where your Tanzania family safari comes to an end. Depending on your travel plans, you can be transferred to your hotel or onward to the airport.
