Day 1: Nairobi to Aberdare National Park

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, heading the cool highlands of Aberdare National Park. The drive takes you through tea plantations and scenic countryside before arriving at the park. After lunch at the base hotel, you will transfer to a unique tree lodge inside the forest. From the lodge’s viewing deck, you can observe wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, and bushbucks as they visit the waterhole, especially in the evening. This peaceful environment offers a completely different safari experience compared to open savannah parks

Day 2: Aberdare to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, depart from the Aberdare region and begin your journey north toward Samburu National Reserve. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, where you may encounter elephants, lions, and the unique northern species that make this reserve special

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Spend a full day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is known for its unique wildlife, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. You will also have opportunities to spot predators such as lions and leopards. The Ewaso Nyiro River attracts many animals, making it a great location for wildlife viewing. A picnic lunch allows you to maximize your time in the park. Day 4: Samburu Exploration & Cultural Experience
